Abstract

Based on the CMFP design concept, the work aims to explore and summarize the design methods of banknotes, apply them to the design of commemorative tickets of the Jiming Temple, which can be collected as souvenirs. By studying the design theories and principles of color (C), material (M), finishing (F), and pattern (P) and combined with research and analysis of banknotes, some design ideas for color perception, material requirements, manufacturing processes, and pattern settings in banknotes were proposed, and the empirical case of the Nanjing Jiming Temple was also cited to demonstrate the above ideas. It is concluded that CMFP design plays a significant role in banknote design and provides a new approach for the scenic spot ticket design of the Jiming Temple.
