Abstract
The digital lifestyle has become a new model, not excluding the physical world but gradually establishing a way of living based on Cyber-Physical-Social Systems (CPSS). The work aims to focus on how this system can provide insights for improving social support systems and actively addressing the challenges of an aging population. Based on the research outcomes of social support theories within CPSS, including support methods and sources, the methods of literature review and logical analysis were employed to concentrate on the research of support paths, including dimensions such as cultural guidance, people-centered approaches, scenario balance, physical presence, and device terminals. To actively address the issue of population aging, within the framework of the Cyber-Physical-Social Systems, the social support system involves two main paths of product support and service support, which are both subject to the influence of policies and cultural factors. The fundamental principle underlying its design is to construct a people-centered social system. At the current stage, the concept of age-friendly design should follow the principle of "emphasizing the physical aspect first and then attaching equal importance to both the physical and the cyber aspects." It is crucial to continuously focus on the needs of the digitally disadvantaged groups so as to ensure that technological advancements can bring benefits to a wider range of people.
