From the design user research, the work aims to explore the influencing factors of emotional perception and healing experience of cute pet IP images and their role mechanisms from a multidisciplinary theoretical perspective. Firstly, a qualitative research methodology relying on the grounded theory was used to design the research and materials and texts were obtained through semi-structured interviews with a valid sample of 23 people, and then the materials were coded at three levels by the NVIVO 12 qualitative analysis tool to identify factors influencing emotional perceptions and healing experiences. Finally, the theoretical frameworks of SOR and PAD were integrated to construct a model of influencing mechanisms. At last, 8 main categories under 2 dimensions were obtained, namely content production (theme style, role type, emotional expression, and behavior), formal expression (modeling posture, clothing props, color collocation, and texture material), and accordingly a "content production-form expression-emotional perception-healing experience influencing mechanism model was built. Deep excavation of the 8 main categories of factors affecting emotional perception and healing experience can optimize the design of emotional healing experience of cute pet IP image.
