Abstract

The work aims to enrich the innovative design methods and enhance the systematic and cultural design of ceramic packaging container. The investigation method and case study method were adopted. The basic system of modular design of ceramic packaging containers was established through module partition, module combination and design evaluation. The ceramic packaging containers can be divided from three views of functional modules, ontological modules and cultural modules. The methods of module combination include splitting, substituting, augmenting or excluding, inverting and porting modules. The modular evaluation system of ceramic packaging containers is established by FAHP method. The modular theory can expand the current design method of ceramic packaging containers and provide a more systematic new idea for the design of ceramic packaging containers.
