Guidance APP is an important auxiliary tool for patients in the process of hospital treatment, but existing APPs have different advantages and disadvantages, with unclear interface priorities and cumbersome medical treatment procedures. In order to effectively tap users' negative emotions and interface optimization needs in the process of using guidance APP, and scientifically transform them into product functions, the work aims to propose an improved interface design method based on Gross emotion regulation rule and context construction to further improve the efficiency of consultation and APP usability. Firstly, the usage situation and negative emotions of users in the course of using the guidance APP in a 3A hospital were obtained through investigation, and the negative emotions of users were quantitatively analyzed by combining PAD emotion model and SAM scale. Secondly, the Gross emotion regulation rule was used to propose a corresponding design scheme and form an APP optimization module. Finally, the System Usability Scale (SUS) was used to evaluate and test the schemes before and after the improvement. With a 3A hospital as an example, the design practice was carried out, the total operation time of the optimized design scheme was shortened, and the interface usability was effectively improved. The design method based on Gross emotion regulation rule and context construction is applied to the improved design of guidance APP, which can more accurately mine the negative emotional pain points of users in the process of medical treatment and optimize product functions, give full play to the role of context and emotion in user behavior, and provide new ideas for the design of hospital guidance APP.
