Abstract

Through in-depth analysis of the new media environment, user needs and behavior patterns, combined with the museum’s rich cultural resources and innovative design ideas, developed a series of cultural and creative products with unique cultural connotation and artistic value, in line with the characteristics of the new media era. Through the methods of literature review, observation, and case analysis, this study delves into the forms of information dissemination in the new media era, as well as the requirements for the design and development of museum cultural and creative products, and clarifies the main ideas and development paths of museum cultural and creative product design in the context of this era. The conclusion is that the full application of new technological means, as well as the connection between the museum's official platform and the public, can subvert the inherent cognition of museum cultural and creative products and ensure the integration of museum cultural and creative products. And by transforming traditional cultural symbols, presenting content in a fragmented manner, and creating museum exclusive cultural and creative brands, museum cultural and creative products that are suitable for the development environment of the new media era can be developed, which plays a crucial role in promoting the inheritance and development of excellent Chinese culture today and even in the future.
