The work aims to explore the needs of stakeholders in the integrated development of cultural landscapes and tourism along the Silk Road, optimize the integrated development strategies, and enhance visitors' satisfaction with the tourism experience. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and participatory observation. The development needs were analyzed by stakeholder maps and customer journey maps. With the help of the KANO model and the AHP model, an evaluation model for the integrated development of cultural landscapes and tourism along the Silk Road was constructed from four dimension of:culture, function, ecology, and space. By evaluating the model, the weights of the integrated development indicators for the Yumen Pass scenic area were obtained. It was found that the brand visual image, internal transportation planning, ecological safety monitoring, and the comprehensiveness of the service system had a significant impact on visitors' experience satisfaction. Based on these findings, design strategies for Yumen Pass were proposed. The method proposed in this work can take into account the needs of different stakeholders and effectively evaluate and design the integration of cultural landscapes and tourism along the Silk Road, providing a more rigorous and scientific basis for identifying and improving key indicator factors of cultural landscape tourism and achieving high-quality integrated development of cultural landscapes and tourism along the Silk Road.
