Life and health are fundamental human rights. In the context of rapid advancements in information technology, traditional healthcare is undergoing transformative changes. The work aims to determine the current state of healthcare research in China through literature review and identify future directions for health design. With China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) as the primary database and CiteSpace as the visualization analysis tool, hospitals, communities, and homes were used as core research scenarios, supplemented by comparisons with international English- language literature for comparison and demonstration, thus determining the development status of smart healthcare and the development trend of health design under the current three scenarios. Finally, four mainstream research directions for hospital and home scenarios and three for community scenarios were identified. The central functional roles of these three scenarios were determined and older adults were identified as the primary focus of current research. Based on these insights, a tripartite smart healthcare service design framework was proposed. Subsequent health design scholars can not only refine the existing research directions, but also find new research directions through the linkage of different scenarios. This offers a concrete research framework and direction for future design studies, holding significant theoretical value.
