Development of Virtual Creativity Support System Based on 4P Model

Abstract

The work aims to explore the application of technology in creativity support systems to address the limitations of traditional creativity support systems, such as low digitalization and high reliance on personal knowledge reasoning, and construct a virtual creativity support system to help students improve their creative performance. Through literature analysis, existing creativity support systems were reviewed and summarized. Based on the 4P Model, a virtual reality technology-driven creativity support system was designed, incorporating association, analogy, isomorphism, and deconstruction training. Seventy-three students were selected to test the system in groups. The results showed that the virtual creativity support system based on the 4P model could enhance students' creative performance and motivation. In conclusion, it is an effective way to strengthen the creative environment, intervene in the creative process, output creative products, and increase personal motivation based on the virtual reality technology. Future research can continue to explore personalized creativity support systems for students from different disciplines and backgrounds.
