Under the background of cultural revitalization and rural revitalization, the traditional inheritance method and technical innovation of Leping Ancient Opera Stage, as an important carrier of Chinese Gan Opera, is difficult to meet the modern needs. Focusing on consumer demands, the rooting theory and the sequential relationship method were adopted. And combined with in-depth interviews, NVivo12 coding analysis and emotional weighting calculation the cultural characteristic indicators were refined, and design practice on the Stable Diffusion platform was carried out through AIGC technology. The study identified and defined the key cultural features of Leping Ancient Opera Stage and established a cultural feature evaluation index system. It was found that the components such as treasure roof, flying eaves and hanging basket suspension columns were highly recognizable in modern design and met modern aesthetic demands. The design scheme generated by the Stable Diffusion platform successfully integrated traditional cultural features with modern design. In conclusion, AIGC technology can realize the contemporary translation of the cultural features of traditional Chinese buildings such as Leping Ancient Opera Stage, which provides new possibilities for the modern application of traditional folk architectural symbols. The modern application of traditional architectural symbols in different cultural contexts can be further explored in the future to promote the protection and inheritance of traditional culture.
