Focusing on the intelligent design of public facilities in maternal and child health hospitals, the work aims to explore the role of digital technology in its integrating into public facility design in improving the quality and efficiency of medical services and optimizing the doctor-patient experience. Firstly, focusing on the user-centered design principle, the current situation and specific problems in the design of public facilities in maternal and child health hospitals were sorted out through literature review, field research, user interviews, questionnaire surveys, etc. Secondly, the needs of pregnant women, infants and young children were refined and clustered analyzed, the intelligent design content of public facilities in maternal and child health care hospitals was proposed, and the intelligent design strategy of public facilities in maternal and child health care hospitals was constructed. The result showed that the digital design of intelligent public facilities in maternal and child health hospitals should focus on intelligent and serialized innovative design of public facilities such as public seats, lighting fixtures, guide systems, green potted plants and barrier-free passages for strollers, and put forward specific design strategies such as shaping an integrated image language, strengthening the linkage between facilities, paying attention to safety and privacy, and improving the medical experience of pregnant women. In conclusion, the digital design of public facilities in maternal and child health hospitals can not only promote the linkage mechanism between public facilities, but also significantly improve the convenience, efficiency and personalized experience of women and children seeking medical treatment, and provide new perspectives and ideas for the design of related medical and health care public facilities.
