Abstract
The work aims to design a product that can realize the recycling and reuse of food waste in response to the increasing production of food waste in China, so as to alleviate the environmental pressure caused by food waste and promote sustainable development. Firstly, a list of user needs is determined through literature review, user interviews and expert consultation; Secondly, the KANO model was used to classify the user needs; Thirdly, the hierarchical analysis method (AHP) was used to establish an evaluation model and judgment matrix to weight and rank the user needs; Finally, based on the results of KANO and AHP, five design schemes were output. Through the PUGH decision matrix, a preliminary screening and comprehensive evaluation of the five design schemes were carried out. After determining the optimal scheme, the scheme was optimized and iterated in combination with the evaluation results. In the research process, the KANO model, the hierarchical analysis method and the PUGH decision matrix were used to design a food waste recycling and reuse product that met the needs of users. It can be seen that the combination of the KANO model and the hierarchical analysis method can reduce the subjectivity and arbitrariness in the design process. The PUGH decision matrix guides the output of the optimal design scheme, and the final scheme is reasonable and reliable and meets the user's needs, verifying the feasibility and guiding role of this method in design practice. At the same time, the design can realize the recycling and reuse of food waste, which contributes to sustainable development.
