Abstract

The work aims to enrich the children's furniture design market, to further enhance children's multi-sensory function and user experience while helping designers to clarify the direction and focus of design, and provide reasonable and feasible ideas for function realization. Firstly, the key user requirements of multi-sensory experience were extracted and the weight priority order was obtained through FKANO model, EWM and AHP, and the conflict of design was solved by TRIZ. Secondly, the design practice of children's furniture was carried out, and finally, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was employed to assess the design. With this method, 11 key user requirements based on multi-sensory experience were finally pinpointed, and three pairs of conflicts in the practice were solved at the same time, and the design practice and design evaluation were supported based on the data above. The method is able to accurately extract user requirements in terms of multi-sensory experience, which improves user satisfaction and provides ideas for designers to solve problems arising in design.
