Abstract
This study aims to explore the principles and design strategies of children's toy packaging design, providing more experience and references for such design, in order to create children's toy packaging that better meets the needs of users. A theoretical research method is adopted to elaborate on the principles of children's toy packaging design. From the perspectives of the psychological needs and expectations of the audience, as well as multi-sensory design and experience, the strategies for children's toy packaging design are explored. Children's toy packaging design should follow the principles of safety, usability, interest, and sustainability. In terms of design strategies, it should conform to the physiological characteristics and psychological needs of children, fulfill the psychological expectations of parents, and focus on user interaction and experience.
