Abstract

The work aims to explore the design strategies for health management system interfaces based on emotional design theory to enhance users' continuous usage intentions and satisfaction. Emotional needs in using health management system interfaces were identified and refined through user interviews and the KJ method. The A-Kano model was employed to quantitatively analyze these emotional needs, clarifying their need attributes and ranking their importance. Based on these findings, specific design strategies were proposed across three dimensions of visual, functional, and personalized needs, including optimizing visual experience, improving functional experience, and promoting sustained usage, followed by validation through design practice. Based on the analysis of research results, the emotional design strategy proposed has better feasibility and practicality, which provides theoretical support and practical pathways for the interface design of health management systems, contributing to improved emotional user experiences and system utilization rates, and advancing the development of the health management service industry.
