Influencing Mechanism of Digital Museum Interface Users' Technology Acceptance Behavior

Abstract

The work aims to find the influencing factors and corresponding mechanisms that affect users' acceptance of digital museum interface technology in the era of rapid technological updates, and provide strategies for digital museum interface design. Through the structural equation model (SEM) tool, combined with the extraction of various component elements in existing digital museum research, a model was constructed and calculated on the theoretical framework of a technology acceptance model (TAM). The model mechanism showed that in the "point-network-quality" museum interface element framework, the "improvement of equipment use convenience" in the "point-device" element, the "assurance of semantically coherent information links" in the "network-system" element, and the "novel popular science information text" in the "quality-information" element had the most significant effect on promoting users' DMI technology acceptance behavior. In conclusion, the DMI technology acceptance behavior model based on the "point-network-quality" influencing factor framework can output strategies that are instructive for digital museum interface design, and is worthy of further research
