Abstract

The work aims to explore how XR technology can bring innovative design to home sports products to meet the growing demand for home fitness, while enhancing the experiential quality, entertainment value, and scientific rigor of home sports, and providing new perspectives and technical supports for the innovative design of home sports products. First, through an extensive review of domestic and international literature, the fundamental principles, developmental history, and current applications of XR technology across various domains were systematically organized. Second, existing XR-based home sports products were analyzed to summarize successful practices and identify challenges. The ways how XR technology enabled immersive exercise environments, real-time motion data monitoring, and personalized workout program design in practical applications were analyzed. Finally, the practical effectiveness and user experience of XR technology in the innovative design of home sports products were validated and evaluated. The study proposes an innovative design framework centered on "immersive interaction", optimizing and advancing three key aspects:spatial expansion, intelligent motion guidance, and gamified incentive mechanisms. This approach establishes a "physiological-psychological-social" trinity intelligent fitness ecosystem. The findings aim to provide a theoretical support for the innovative design of home sports products empowered by XR technology.
