Abstract

The work aims to analyze the current situation of elderly mobility products on the market, study the demands and pain points of users and provide a set of safe and comfortable mobility aid products for the elderly with reduced mobility. Firstly, the original user demand data were encoded by summarizing and sorting out the user characteristics and the current situation of the target market. Secondly, the AHP-DEMATEL model was used to decode and rank the weight of each user demand. Thirdly, combined with the HOQ in QFD method, the user demands were transformed into the product design feature requirement and the weights were ranked. Finally, according to the ranking of product technical features, the design scheme was obtained, verified and optimized. The innovative design idea of integrating AHP- DEMATEL/QFD was established, and the importance of the functional requirements of lightweight, fall protection and auxiliary balance of elderly mobility aid products was clarified, and the innovative design and optimization of the products were completed. The AHP-DEMATEL/QFD theory transforms the importance of more objective user demands into the importance of product features, and the final solution is obtained and optimized, so as to realize the innovation of elderly mobility aid products and provide ideas and references for related design products.
