Abstract
The work aims to provide a set of convenient and comfortable care bed product design program for the disabled elderly in the community. The user needs were sorted out after analysis on the products and target groups of community beds for the elderly. Then, based on the user needs, the questionnaire was designed. Through the KANO model, the user needs were screened out and the priority of the needs was measured, to determine the function positioning of the product. TRIZ theory was used to analyze the contradictory problems in the function, transform the problems into corresponding technologies, form the contradiction matrix, and then solve the problems through corresponding invention principles. Finally, the final innovative design scheme was formed through modeling and rendering. After the optimization and screening of the user needs, the specific needs were obtained and in the design practice, multi-functional elements such as modular combination and assembly, reduction of bedsores, small table board for dining, universal equipment interface, modular toilet, and modular hair washing were adopted for the design of community bed products. Through the KANO model and TRIZ theory, the user needs have been accurately extracted and the contradictory problems in the design function have been rationally solved. Corresponding to the community elderly care scenarios from the dual perspectives of the disabled and semi-disabled elderly and the caregivers, it helps to improve the functionality and convenience of the community care beds and provides new design ideas and references.
