Abstract

The work aims to design a concept cockpit to enhance the comfort of passengers in a new energy vertical take-off and landing vehicle. First, passenger needs were identified through interviews and questionnaires. Then, the weight values of the needs were analyzed by the hierarchical analysis method (AHP), and the passenger needs were converted into specific cockpit attributes by the quality function development (QFD) method to establish a correlation matrix. In the end, the passenger needs for cockpit design were transformed into interior design attributes, and the design direction of the cockpit of the new energy vertical take-off and landing vehicle was clarified to guide the specific design process. By combining AHP and QFD methods, the transformation from passengers' physiological, psychological and functional needs to cockpit design features is successfully realized, which meets the passenger needs for the cockpit of the new energy vertical take-off and landing vehicle, and provides a valuable reference for the design of the cockpit of the vertical take-off and landing vehicle in the future national strategy of popularizing low-altitude economy.
