Abstract
The work aims to explore whether "museum + metaverse" can bring audiences better reading experience and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the text reading mode of museum exhibitions. The advantages of reading experience under the metaverse perspective were comprehensively analyzed, and with this goal, a "controlled experiment" was carried out in the physical museums in Nanjing and Shanghai. Combined with statistics, data analysis was carried out with an IBM SPSS statistic platform system. "Museum+metaverse" could provide audiences with better experience and immersion. In conclusion, the study of "museum+metaverse" reading mode will accelerate the transformation of the text reading media, provide audiences with more abundant digital resources and services, and better play the role of museums in education and entertainment.
