Abstract
With the increasing demand for flexibility and multifunctionality in modern office environments, traditional office desk design can no longer accommodate the personalized demands of diverse user groups. Against the backdrop of accelerated advancements in intelligence, digitalization, and personalization, the work aims to design a multi-scenario experience office desk to provide a diversified office environment for different user groups. A hierarchical strategy for the product design of multi-scenario experience office desks was designed. For the upper layer, the Affinity Diagram method was used for unstructured clustering of user demands and Gaussian Fuzzy AHP was applied to address uncertainties in expert evaluations, thereby improving the accuracy of user demand weight calculations. For the middle layer, Quality Function Deployment (QFD) was applied to identify key technical features of multi-scenario experience office desks and a mapping between user demands and technical features was established through the House of Quality (HOQ) to extract core technical features and contradictions. For the lower layer, the TRIZ theory was applied to resolve technical contradictions and product design was optimized based on core technical features. This hierarchical strategy was effectively applied in the design practice of multi-scenario experience office desks, successfully resolving multiple conflicting technical features and significantly enhancing product development efficiency and quality. By constructing a mathematical model within the hierarchical framework, user demands can be effectively quantified, ensuring that design solutions closely align with real user demands. Validation through product design practice confirms that this hierarchical strategy effectively integrates diverse demands, endowing the multi-scenario experience office desk with emotional, human-centered, and functional attributes, thereby enhancing its market competitiveness.
