Abstract

With the main hall of Nanchan Temple, a landmark building in the Tang Dynasty, as the research object, the work aims to use innovative methods of spatial integration to provide innovative ideas for designing wooden structure derivatives with excellent traditional space construction culture in China. Through the verification by the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and the construction ruler public disclosure method of the Tang Dynasty, the design method and inheritance path of the space construction craft of the main hall of Nanchan Temple were explained, and the design methods of innovative transformation of craft characteristics, data visualization, inheritance practice and social interaction were explored to promote the cultural dissemination of traditional space construction crafts and the design inheritance of cultural factors. The spatial composition design characteristics of the main hall of Nanchan Temple in the Tang Dynasty are verified, and the intelligent construction path of contemporary inheritance design coupled with traditional space construction crafts is refined. The design inheritance practice is carried out with the main hall of Nanchan Temple as the prototype, and the scientific paradigm and design inheritance method of the traditional space construction crafts of "Chinese-style modernization" are explored.
