Farmer Painting Elements in Cultural and Creative Product Design and Development

Abstract

Objective: By studying the elements of farmer paintings, we can better inherit and protect this folk culture, thereby enhancing people's awareness and appreciation of folk culture. Integrating the elements of farmer paintings into the design of cultural and creative products will provide more creative and distinctive ideas to enrich the cultural connotation of these products. This approach transforms them into not just commodities, but works of art that carry culture and stories, increasing the cultural value and market competitiveness of the products. Method: Using theoretical research methods, we will review relevant literature to understand the history, cultural value of farmer paintings, and their application in cultural and creative products, clarifying the theoretical foundation of the study. Through field research methods, we will conduct interviews with farmer painting artists, cultural and creative product designers, and consumers to understand the creative process of farmer paintings and their cultural connotations, inspiring design ideas. Conclusion: The artistic characteristics of farmer paintings include four points: the subject matter is full of life atmosphere; The composition emphasizes narrative; Exaggerated design with rich imagination; The colors are bold and bright, lively and jumping. In the innovative design of cultural and creative products with rural painting elements, folk art should be deconstructed and reorganized, and design concepts should be innovated; Emphasize the simplification of elements in farmer paintings to make the expression more concise; Extract concrete elements of farmer paintings and apply them; Extract imagery elements from farmer paintings and transform them; When applying farmer painting elements, attention should be paid to the cultural and practical aspects of cultural and creative products.
