Construction of Digital Collection Path for Chinese Cultural Symbols and Ethnic Images in Inner Mongolia Region

Abstract

Focusing on the digital collection of Chinese cultural symbols and national images in Inner Mongolia, the work aims to systematically explore innovative paths and design transformation mechanisms under the "Tangible-Effective-Affective" framework. By employing a combination of literature analysis, field investigation, digital modeling, and interactive design, a closed-loop process was implemented around multimodal data acquisition, five-layer semantic annotation, knowledge-based database construction, and visualized transformation. A full-chain model of "acquisition-annotation-storage-transformation" was constructed, alongside a locally adaptive and internationally interoperable five-level semantic annotation system. The innovative application mechanisms were further sorted out, such as cultural creative product development, digital interaction, and virtual exhibition. With the Mongolian saddle as a case study, the closed-loop practice from 3D scanning and semantic deconstruction to immersive visualization was completed. The digital collection can significantly enhance the protection and dissemination of national cultural resources, and strengthen public emotional resonance and cultural identity through creative design. The cultural resources of Inner Mongolia has considerable digital transformation potential. Continued advancement in high-precision acquisition, intelligent knowledge graphs, and multi-scenario immersive interaction is recommended to promote the creative transformation and international communication of regional culture, offering a new paradigm for building Chinese national community consciousness and global cultural exchange.
