Innovative Design of Art Deco Style Furniture Assisted by Artificial Intelligence

Abstract

The work aims to extract the design factors in Art Deco style with the assistance of artificial intelligence algorithms to improve the efficiency and accuracy of extraction and accomplish creative design solutions with the help of artificial intelligence generated content, thus providing innovative ideas and methods for modern furniture design. Specifically, the Canny edge detection algorithm and T2I-Adapter algorithm in artificial intelligence technology were used to quickly and accurately extract the shape and color factor characteristics of Art Deco style in various design cases, sort out and refine the words used to describe the shape, color, material and cultural connotation, forming an Art Deco style database, and then the artificial intelligence image generation technologies of Midjourney and Stable Diffusion were employed to complete the practice of furniture innovation design and explore the efficient implementation of diversified design solutions. The artificial intelligence algorithms can quickly and accurately extract the design factors of Art Deco style, and combined with AIGC technology, more creative furniture solutions can be designed, which not only expands the application field of artificial intelligence, but also provides a reference for the research on the innovation of modern furniture design technology.
