Innovative Design of Home Smart Medicine Box Based on Healthy Design Thinking

Abstract

Aiming at the limitations of the existing home smart medicine boxes in terms of design and function, the work aims to optimize the product through health design thinking, improve user experience, and achieve comprehensive health management of home medical products. The study focuses on solving the problems of multi-generational use conflict, product homogenization and smart medical adaptability. The core principles of health design thinking were utilized and their value in the field of medical products was described. Subsequently, an analysis of the needs of different family members revealed the challenges in the design and use of existing products. Guided by health design thinking, this study proposed the design principle of dynamic balance, which aimed to integrate technological innovation with user needs. It also emphasized the application of holistic health design thinking and the "body-mind integrity" thinking approach in the design of home medical products. Strengthening the overall performance, systematic functions, and engaging features of the product, the design paid more attention to the physiological and psychological health of users to achieve comprehensive health management. User-centered design will significantly improve the practicality and quality of life of home medical products, and promote the development of health management towards intelligence and personalization.
