Abstract

The work aims to explore the gamification design strategies and paths for cultural heritage in traditional villages within the framework of gamification theory. With Huashan Village in Zhenjiang as an example, a digital cultural tourism experience model is constructed to enhance users' cultural perception and experience of the village, and to strengthen the rural cultural tourism experience. Based on DMC theory and octagonal behavior analysis framework and combined with cultural heritage protection theory and user survey data, the empirical research was conducted. A mixed research method was adopted to analyze the current situation of Huashan Village through field surveys and interviews, complete the layered design through gamification elements and finally evaluate the effectiveness through prototype testing. The Digital Cultural Tourism Interactive Experience System of Huashan Village effectively enhanced tourists' understanding of rural culture and local residents' willingness to participate. The gamified layered design strategy has significant applicability in traditional village cultural and tourism scenarios. This framework not only provides a new path for the protection and revitalization of traditional villages, but also provides theoretical support and practical reference for the deep integration of digital technology and cultural heritage.
