Design of the Service System for Indigo Dyeing Workshops Based on KANO Model

Abstract

The work aims to design a service system for indigo dyeing workshops through the integration of the KANO model and service design methods, so as to improve the inheritance effect and user experience of intangible cultural heritage. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used to collect user needs, and the need elements were analyzed and ranked based on the KANO model, so as to identify the core elements of the service design of the indigo dyeing workshop. Secondly, by constructing the service system diagram and service blueprint, the interaction between users and service providers was sorted out, and the specific content of the service design of the indigo dyeing workshop was finally determined. The effective application of the KANO model in the identification and sequencing of service needs provided a scientific theoretical basis for the design strategy of the service system for the indigo dyeing workshop, constructed a reasonable applet service system for the indigo dyeing workshop, and offered theoretical guidance for design practice. The applet service design of the indigo dyeing workshop not only improves the user's sense of participation and satisfaction, but also helps to promote the inheritance and development of the indigo dyeing process. The research methods and practical results proposed construct a theoretical framework and practical cases with reference value for the service design strategy in the field of intangible cultural heritage.
