Digital Design of Red IP Products Based on Innovation Diffusion Theory

Abstract

The work aims to explore the innovative design strategies of red IP products to effectively disseminate red culture and enhance its educational significance. Based on the theory of innovation diffusion, the driving factors of innovation diffusion in red IP products were analyzed and a research framework for the innovation diffusion of red IP products was constructed. The KANO method combined with the coefficient of variation was adopted for comprehensive evaluation and it was proposed to integrate red genes under cultural perception innovation, combining direct expression with metaphor. In visual perception innovation, the importance of appearance was emphasized and the visual language of red culture was innovated. In form perception innovation, the product ecology was enriched, meeting individual needs and enhancing interactive experiences. The design practice was verified with the example of the former site of Li Dazhao's revolutionary activities at the Wufeng Mountain. The integration of the innovation diffusion theory has largely identified the pain points of innovation diffusion in red IP products. Digital innovation strategies help to enhance the dissemination power of red cultural genes, deepen the public's cognition and emotional resonance with red history, and promote the modernization and lifestyle development of red culture.
