To address multiple challenges prevalent among the elderly group in contemporary society, including general memory decline, high cognitive load, and digital interaction barriers, the work aims to integrate core memory-assisting functions, supplementary health reminders, and safety guarantee features to develop an effective memory consolidation product for the elderly. The Kano model was employed to conduct interviews in elderly communities, prioritize the initial needs of the elderly, identify memory-assisting functions as expected attributes, and classify supplementary health and safety guarantee functions as must-have attributes. Further, by adopting a multimodal fusion strategy and the principle of visual language guidance, a product design framework characterized by physical buttons, voice interaction-centric operation, and integrated health functions was established. This product was capable of providing memory assistance for the elderly with naturally declining cognitive functions, establishing a closed-loop service system encompassing daily life and emergency response in the form of a wearable terminal to function as an effective and crucial cognitive support tool. This product can empower the elderly to conveniently record and express personal narratives and emotions, thereby enhancing their self-efficacy and endowing them with a profound sense of life value.
