The work aims to solve the existing problems of the elderly care service system in communities, build a comprehensive elderly care service platform in smart communities and propose elderly care design strategies and carry out design practice in smart communities. Firstly, the design elements were obtained by combining the field survey method and user interview method, the grounded theory was used to clarify the category of pension needs in smart communities, and the Maslow hierarchy of needs theory was used to build five needs. Then, the AHP (analytic hierarchy process) was used to calculate the weight of elements, and the in-depth integration application of artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality technology (VR) and community pension services was explored. Finally, the FCE (fuzzy comprehensive evaluation) method combined with the user questionnaire was used to evaluate the trial feedback of the product. Based on the analysis of multiple subjects and multiple needs, a "four in one" elderly care service system is constructed for the elderly in communities, which is composed of basic information management system, community management system, social service system and evaluation feedback system and a four layer port "smart sharing" APP and portable VR glasses are designed, aiming to provide comprehensive care for the elderly and offer new directions and suggestions for the design of elderly care service systems in smart communities.
