Design Elements Influencing User Experience Evaluation in Hainan's Tourism Cultural and Creative Products

Abstract

The work aims to explore the key design elements influencing user experience evaluation in Hainan's tourism cultural and creative products and propose targeted design optimization strategies, to enhance the market competitiveness and user recognition of Hainan's cultural and creative products and promote the innovation and high-quality development of the tourism cultural and creative industry in Hainan. Initially, factor analysis was used to cluster six critical factors influencing users' satisfaction with Hainan's tourism cultural and creative products along with the magnitude of their effects. Subsequently, the Kano model was applied to analyze the specific impacts of key design elements on users' satisfaction. The factor analysis and Kano model revealed that culture, emotion, and innovation were the critical factors influencing users' satisfaction with Hainan's tourism cultural and creative products. Design elements such as excellent craftsmanship and practical functionality formed the foundation. Aesthetic design and local traditional skills were key areas for optimization. Interactive experiences, cultural heritage, and green environmental protection were new highlights that attracted users. Four design optimization strategies are proposed: ensuring foundational quality and enhancing sensory experiences, deepening the exploration of cultural connotations with innovative expression, strengthening emotional value and shaping uniqueness, and adhering to green sustainable development. Through design practice, the feasibility of these research findings has been further verified, providing theoretical and empirical support for the design optimization of Hainan's cultural and creative products.
