Design of Yellow River Colored Pottery Cultural Teapot Based on KE-PSO-MLP Model

Abstract

The work aims to design a teapot with Yellow River colored pottery culture characteristics to meet the emotional needs of users. The Kansei Engineering (KE) method was used to quantify the relationship between teapot features and users' affective cognition, and a mapping model was established. Combined with the PSO-MLP model method of the optimized particle swarm optimization algorithm, the nonlinear relationship between the characteristics of the teapot and the user's affective cognition was learned, and the optimal curve was fitted, and the users' affective cognition was accurately predicted according to the training model. In conclusion, the predictive design model can predict the nonlinear relationship between the characteristics of the teapot and the user's cognition efficiently and accurately, and the design scheme has a high user satisfaction. The design framework provides a new perspective for furniture design, and is expected to promote the innovation and technological progress of home design in the new era.
