The work aims to explore the methods of public facility design from the perspective of inclusive design, to design public facilities that meet the needs of different groups of people and make public facility design more humane. By using literature review and case study methods and starting from the definition of inclusive design, the application methods and examples of incorporating inclusive design concepts into public facility design were discussed and analyzed, respectively. The core of inclusive design concept lies in meeting the needs of different groups of people, which is consistent with the concept of public spaces providing places, assistance, resources, etc. for different groups of people. Therefore, inclusive design is an important design concept in the design of public facilities in public spaces. Designers should incorporate the concept of inclusive design into public facility design, with meeting the needs of the population as the core and face the diversity of different groups of people, pay attention to the instinctive level experience of the population, emphasize the inclusiveness of the reflective level, and focus on diversity.
