Optimization Design of the Guilin Museum Signage System Based on GT-AHP

Abstract

The work aims to objectively sort out the current problems of the signage system of Guilin Museum, explore the design factors affecting the optimization of the museum signage system, discover the intrinsic connection and influence weight of the factors, and put forward a detailed optimization design scheme to improve the overall image of the museum and the visitors' guiding experience. The evaluation system of the Guilin Museum signage system was derived by coding the literature and questionnaire data step by step based on the rooted theory (GT), and the coding was assigned and ranked by the hierarchical analysis method (AHP) to judge the influence strength of each factor on the optimization design of the signage system, to guide the generation of the subsequent design. The GT-AHP evaluation model of the Guilin Museum signage system was constructed, and the optimization scheme that incorporated diversified geometric compositions and organic curves, built a hierarchical and functional color system, strengthened the thematic and subtlety of patterns, utilized durable and aesthetic materials, and combined intelligent interaction with traditional elements was proposed. Based on the GT-AHP method, the general path of "cultural gene extraction - system level empowerment - technology symbiosis verification" is summarized, which provides an adaptive methodology for the design of signage systems in similar cultural heritage spaces, and promotes the upgrading of the paradigm of regional culture from symbolic reproduction to genetic expression.
