Research on Design Ethics-oriented AIGC IP Character Design Strategy

Abstract

Aiming at the in-depth application of artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC) technology in the field of IP character design, the work aims to study the ethical problems such as creative homogenization, misuse of cultural symbols, and ambiguous copyright attribution caused by it, and put forward a design strategy centered on design ethics to balance the technological empowerment and humanistic values, and to promote the sustainable development of the intelligent generative technology and IP design. Based on the theoretical framework of design ethics, interdisciplinary literature analysis, comparative case studies, and empirical verification methods were adopted to systematically analyze the technical characteristics and application scenarios of AIGC technology in IP character generation, and construct ethical constraints in terms of human-computer synergy mechanism, cultural sensitivity and copyright compliance. Three strategies of "human-machine creative symbiosis", "cultural compliance" and "legalization of technology" are proposed to effectively avoid creative dissolution, cultural bias, and legal disputes through algorithm optimization and process re-engineering, so as to provide an effective solution for the use of AI technology in IP image generation and help the innovation and upgrading of the digital culture industry.
