Design of Bamboo Woven Furniture Themed on Horsehair Embroidery Culture of Shui Ethnic Group Based on AIGC Technology

Abstract

In the current era where traditional culture and digital technology are combined, to promote the inheritance and innovation of intangible cultural heritage, the work focuses on the unique intangible cultural heritage embroidery technique of the Shui ethnic group's horsehair embroidery, aiming to deeply study the innovative ways of integrating traditional intangible cultural heritage techniques with bamboo woven furniture design based on AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) technology. Based on the theoretical framework of semiotics, this article conducted a detailed analysis and interpretation of the patterns of the Shui ethnic group's horsehair embroidery from four dimensions -semantics, structure, context, and pragmatics, and sorted out their cultural connotations and artistic features. Subsequently, by analyzing the implicit meanings, color systems and cultural symbols of the horsehair embroidery patterns, and combining the capabilities of AIGC technology in image generation, style transfer and parametric design such as Lo RA, a research framework of pattern connotation analysis -pattern line draft extraction -intelligent algorithm generation -design practice verification was constructed. The entire experimental process of the system showed that AIGC technology demonstrated remarkable efficiency in deconstructing and translating traditional elements such as horsehair embroidery patterns, and could generate furniture design schemes that not only carried distinct cultural characteristics but also had practical value. The design process constructed by this research institute not only continues the artistic essence of traditional embroidery but also infuses innovative functional attributes and aesthetic expressions into furniture products. It provides valuable practical experience and innovative ideas for the modernization and innovation of traditional culture and the traditional furniture industry, which is conducive to promoting the development of the traditional furniture industry towards high-end and intelligent directions.
