AIGC-Based Research on Digital Archiving and Cultural and Creative Product Design Innovation of Hetao Cultural Genes

Abstract

The work aims to address the fragmentation, homogenization, and ambiguous representation of Hetao cultural genes in digital preservation by proposing multimodal data integration and an AIGC-driven innovation mechanism for generative cultural and creative product design based on "digital archiving". Data sources were acquired from given channels to construct a digital archive, and techniques including Stable Diffusion and LoRA fine-tuning were applied to enable feature learning and visual reconstruction of tangible and intangible cultural symbols, achieving precise translation of Hetao cultural genes in product design. A closed-loop model of "resource digitization, AIGC empowerment, and design innovation" was developed, forming a design process grounded in digital archiving and supported by AIGC, yielding redesigned products that integrate cultural identity with intelligent innovation. By embedding digital archiving and AIGC into regional cultural and creative product innovation, this study establishes a practical pathway for AI integration that facilitates the revitalization of Hetao culture. The multilayered digital archive mitigates cultural loss in design, offering a replicable reference for the digital transformation of regional cultural genes.
