Design of a Cloisonné Digital Heritage APP Based on the KANO-AHP-QFD Hybrid Method

Abstract

The work aims to explore design methods and implementation pathways for transitioning from "functional display" to "immersive experience" to deal with the bottlenecks of "difficult tacit knowledge translation" and "lack of multi-sensory experience" in the digital heritage preservation of complex crafts such as cloisonné. The KANO-AHP-QFD hybrid method was applied to intangible cultural heritage digital scenarios. Core user needs were identified through interviews and the KANO method. The AHP method was then used to incorporate the perspective of inheritors to establish need priorities. With the help of QFD, craft knowledge was transformed into digital interactive features, and an APP prototype was developed for usability testing. This hybrid approach establishes a "needs insight-experience loop" pathway, effectively addressing the challenge of tacit knowledge translation while enhancing users' craft cognition and immersive experience. It provides a referential framework for the digital living heritage preservation of similar ICH crafts.
