Design of the Intelligent Modular Landscape Flower Box System

Abstract

In the context of the "dual carbon" goal and the construction of smart cities, in response to the problems of high maintenance costs, single functionality, and unsustainable materials in traditional landscape flower boxes, the work aims to construct an intelligent flower box system with full-cycle intelligent dynamic perception, expandable functions, and sustainable optimization, in order to enhance its adaptability to diverse urban scenarios, improve ecological benefits, and provide hardware support and functional carriers for the digital transformation of the entire city. By integrating the intelligent system of the Internet of Things, implanting modular intelligent structures, and applying ecological materials such as recycled concrete, a tripartite collaborative design framework of "intelligentization - modularization - ecological sustainability" was proposed. The application of intelligent modular landscape flower boxes integrates rainwater recycling, drip irrigation control, solar charging, hidden seats, and intelligent monitoring modules, forming a "monitoring - decision-making - execution" closed-loop system, adding environmental perception, dynamic response, and ecological service capabilities to traditional flower boxes. The intelligent design promotes the upgrading of landscape flower boxes towards higher value-added, stronger interactivity, and lower maintenance costs. Through closed-loop control and modular structures, it supports industrialized intelligent construction, transforming them from functional carriers into urban space components integrating ecology and art.
