Abstract

The work aims to construct a genealogy of Li brocade's cultural genes, analyze core cultural factors, explore design methods for tourism cultural and creative products, and promote the living inheritance and modern transformation of Li brocade culture. Firstly, by genealogical research, Li brocade's cultural genes were deconstructed into three gene groups: historical culture, symbolic culture and functional culture. The hierarchical relationships and interaction mechanisms between dominant genes and recessive genes were analyzed layer by layer. Secondly, through field investigations, literature review, case analysis and other methods, dominant factors such as shape, color and structure of Li brocade patterns, as well as recessive factors such as historical culture and pattern connotations were extracted to construct a visual genetic pedigree chart. Finally, combined with modern design theories, a design transformation process of "cultural factor extraction—innovation—integration" was proposed. Cultural genes were integrated into the design of tourism cultural and creative products through techniques such as deconstruction, translation and reconstruction to verify the feasibility of the genealogy in cultural and creative design. Based on user research, 20 core factors and six pattern types were extracted. The effectiveness and market adaptability of the genealogy in the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage and tourism cultural and creative design were verified through the standardized transformation of patterns, cultural and creative designs such as "Butterfly Rhythm and Orchid Heart", and the application of AR technology. In conclusion, a three-tier framework of the genealogy of Li brocade's cultural genes including historical, symbolic and functional aspects is constructed, clarifying the extraction and translation paths of core cultural factors. Through brand design and product practice, the transformation of Li brocade patterns from traditional symbols to modern cultural and creative products is realized, verifying the empowering value of the genealogy theory for the innovation of intangible cultural heritage.
