Digital Design of AI-empowered Ceramic Cultural and Creative Products

Abstract

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), its application in cultural and creative design has become increasingly widespread. The work aims to explore how AI empowers the digital design of ceramic cultural and creative products, thereby improving design efficiency and innovation, and to establish a practical theoretical framework and methodological guidance that can support the sustainable development the ceramic cultural and creative industry. Through literature review and case analysis, the research investigated the application of digital technology in ceramic cultural and creative products design. A closed-loop process of "user insight-design parameterization-AI generation and iteration-manufacturability verification" was proposed, and further explored from the perspectives of personalized design, AI-assisted ceramic painting, and intelligent production. In conclusion, the findings indicate that AI can significantly enhance design diversity and iterative efficiency while preserving material and cultural characteristics. Validated through cases such as Yixing Zisha ceramics, the proposed framework also bridges the design and manufacturing stages, providing a feasible pathway for integrating cultural heritage with industrial application in ceramic cultural and creative products.
