Research on Rural Cultural Innovation and Ecological Collaborative Design Practice Integrating "Ecology, Living and Production"

Abstract

The work aims to address ecological degradation, weakened cultural inheritance, and economic singularization in the Jingmai Mountain ancient tea-forest rural cultural landscape of Yunnan, by proposing an integrated "ecology, living and production" sustainable framework for rural cultural innovation and ecological collaborative design framework. An interdisciplinary research approach combined with participatory design action was employed to construct three mechanisms of multi-stakeholder collaboration, cultural identity strengthening, and scenario integration, and to form a three-dimensional implementation path of "ecological mapping, co-creation events, and recipe mechanism": mapping and visualizing cultural landscape resources based on ecological mapping; activating intergenerational dialogue and community cooperation through co-creation events; and leveraging an ecological recipe mechanism to link urban-rural resources and drive local economic transformation. The framework could systematically integrate ecological protection, cultural inheritance, and production innovation, achieving biodiversity conservation, living inheritance of Bulang culture, and coordinated urban-rural economic development. In conclusion, this design framework demonstrates both theoretical innovation and practical feasibility, offering a transferable reference paradigm for sustainable rural revitalization in ecologically vulnerable regions.
