目的 通过具身认知理论视角将手偶科普动画对儿童认知能力、行为表现和兴趣度提升等方面的积极性进行分析,并构建手偶儿童科普教育动画构成要素与儿童认知接受能力映射,以验证具身认知理论在手偶儿童科普教育动画中的有效性。方法 通过分析手偶特性与现有科普动画的视觉设计现状,结合具身认知理论,为儿童科普动画提供设计思路。采用眼动追踪技术探究儿童在观看科普教育视频中的学习过程。首先,基于儿童认知特点解析科普动画的视觉元素,并将其转译为设计要素;然后,将手偶科普动画中的主体、场景与角色映射到儿童的认知接受能力上,为设计提供依据;最后,利用眼动数据评估儿童对手偶科普动画的反应,探讨其如何引导注意力、组织信息及促进信息整合。结论 通过对《福克叔叔——科学大冒险》手偶科普动画片的视觉和互动效果与传统科普动画进行对比实验,并应用系统可用性量表(SUS),结合儿童行为和互动效果的对照测试结果,验证手偶科普教育的有效性。
Abstract
The work aims to analyze the positive effects of hand puppet science animation on children's cognitive abilities, behavioral performance, and interest enhancement from the perspective of embodied cognition theory, and construct a mapping between the constituent elements of hand puppet animation in popular science education and children's cognitive acceptance abilities to validate the effectiveness of embodied cognition theory in hand puppet animation in children's popular science education. By analyzing the characteristics of hand puppets and the current visual design status of popular science animation and combining with the embodied cognition theory, the design ideas for children's popular science animation were provided. Eye-tracking technology was used to explore the learning process of children watching popular science education videos. Firstly, based on the cognitive characteristics of children, the visual elements of popular science animation were analyzed and translated into design elements. Then, the subject, scene and role in the hand puppet animation were mapped to children's cognitive acceptance ability to provide a basis for the design. Finally, the eye movement data was used to evaluate children's reactions to puppet animation, and to explore how it guided attention, organized information and promoted information integration. By comparing the visual and interactive effects of the hand puppet popular science cartoon "Uncle Fogg - Science Adventure" with the traditional popular science animation, and applying the system availability scale (SUS), combined with the control test results of children's behavior and interaction effects, the effectiveness of hand puppet popular science education is verified.
