摘要

目的 针对智能洗烘机在老龄化家庭使用中存在的界面元素复杂、操作指引模糊、视觉反馈不清及跨终端一致性不足等问题,探讨基于眼动追踪的适老化视觉响应优化方法。方法 选取8款具有不同产品形态、操作方式和智能化程度的智能洗烘产品作为界面刺激样本,设置家庭模拟与实验室控制场景,采用Tobii Pro Glasses 3穿戴式眼动仪采集12名老年受试者使用时注视时长、注视次数、首次注视时间和回视行为等眼动数据,并结合任务绩效记录、5级Likert主观评价和访谈结果对实体面板与APP界面的视觉认知问题进行分析。结果 实验发现老年用户在程序选择、参数理解、启动确认、状态查看及APP远程控制等任务中,存在关键功能发现困难、图标语义识别不清、操作反馈确认不足、状态信息理解困难和跨终端认知迁移不畅等问题。因此,提出核心功能前置、视觉层级强化、图文复合表达、确认性反馈增强、运行状态阶段化呈现及跨终端一致等优化设计策略。原型验证表明,优化方案能降低老年用户的视觉搜索负担和误操作风险,提升界面清晰度、功能易找性、操作安心感、状态理解度和满意度。结论 眼动追踪技术能为智能洗烘机适老化视觉响应设计提供客观行为依据,优化策略有助于改善老年用户的操作效率和使用体验。

Abstract

The work aims to explore an age-friendly visual response optimization method for smart washer-dryers based on eye-tracking to address problems such as complex interface elements, unclear operation guidance, insufficient visual feedback and inconsistent cross-terminal interaction in smart washer-dryers used by older adults. Eight smart washer-dryers with varying product designs, operating methods, and levels of intelligence were selected as interface stimulation samples. A home-simulated scenario and a laboratory-controlled scenario were established. Twelve older participants were recruited, and Tobii Pro Glasses 3 wearable eye trackers were used to collect eye-movement data, including fixation duration, fixation count, first fixation time and revisiting behavior. Task performance records, five-point Likert scale ratings and interview results were also combined to analyze visual cognition problems in physical panels and APP interfaces. The experiment showed that older users mainly experienced difficulties in key function discovery, program understanding, icon semantic recognition, operation confirmation, status information comprehension and cross-terminal cognitive transfer during tasks such as program selection, parameter adjustment, start-up confirmation, status checking and APP remote control. Based on these problems, optimization strategies were proposed, including prioritizing core functions, strengthening visual hierarchy, integrating icons with text, enhancing confirmatory feedback, presenting operating status in stages and improving cross-terminal consistency. Prototype validation showed that the optimized design could reduce visual search burden and mis-operation risks, while improving interface clarity, function findability, operation confidence, status understanding and overall satisfaction. Eye-tracking technology can provide objective behavioral evidence for the age-friendly visual response design of smart washer-dryers. The proposed optimization strategies can improve older users' operational efficiency and user experience.
